There is one part of Japanese culture and technology that Steve has found fascinating for many years. That is Japan's super hi-tech toilets! These toilets do just about anything you can think of! Open and close automatically, flush automatically, wash, rinse and dry your rear end or "other" areas, clear unwanted smells and sounds as well!! All of this is a form of Japanese Omotenashi; wrapped in a technology that each and everyone of us use on a daily basis! For many foreigner visitors on their first trip to Japan, these toilets ma be a bit intimidating but with Steve's explanation, hopefully things are a bit more understandable and your Japanese toilet experience more enjoyable as well!!
